Reasons for the creation of this symposium:
The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS) is the creator and coordinator of the DCT-REES project. An initiative for the creation of educational materials related to DC electrical engineering. This initiative aimed at both Bachelor’s and Master’s level course material. With an international team, boasting 14 partner institutions from Europe and South Africa, the DCT-REES project has also been made possible in part by the Erasmus + EU Program.
The DC Foundation Netherlands has recently established an Education working group. The aim of this working group is to develop educational material on DC related technology for secondary and tertiary institutions while also providing for corporate/business training needs.
